I have always been fascinated by cave paintings, the obvious images were created by such economy of line, a single stroke thrown against rock makes an animal.

My animal forms might be described as three dimensional silhouettes. I want a clear outline, a profile that creates the right tension, contours precisely placed give life to the sculpture.
